Enlighten Festival 2023 will light up Canberra with culture and creativity over 17 days from 3-19 March.
In addition to the festival’s popular programming, the second weekend of the festival (10-12 March) will celebrate LGBTIQA+ pride with Pride Weekend @ Enlighten Festival. All events celebrating pride are free to attend.
See some of the capital’s most loved and iconic buildings become canvases for specially designed pride-themed projections with stunning displays of light, sound and movement as part of Illuminations @ Enlighten Festival. Enjoy live music as you feast on tasty treats from local food and beverage vendors.
Marvel at hot air balloons sporting LGTBIQA+ flags float across the city on the first morning of the Canberra Balloon Spectacular @ Enlighten Festival. Bask in the beautiful scenery with stunning viewpoints across Canberra or fly on a balloon yourself and take in the views!
FreshOut Fair Day Canberra @ Enlighten Festival is ACT’s largest LGBTIQA+ community pride event. Set in glorious Glebe Park, the festival will feature great entertainment from some of Australia’s finest performing artists. Browse market stalls and taste a selection of local food and wines.
