Black Rainbow is a national volunteer Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander LGBQTIA+SB social enterprise to pursue positive health and wellbeing of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander LGBQTIA+SB community located in the Top End capital, Darwin, Northern Territory.

Initially focusing on suicide prevention, the diversity of our leadership group has allowed us to expand our horizons. As an unfunded entity, we operate on a hybrid model of donations, fee for service and profit from sales of our educational materials and services.

We currently support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander LGBTIQA+SB people through various community projects and initiatives that we have and continue to develop. We call these initiatives our Contagion of Love projects.

Through our grassroots and diverse approaches, we strive to alleviate the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander LGBQTI+SB people.

We have several new and exciting community initiatives that we will launch throughout the year.

We are a non-profit that is 100% Indigenous owned and operated. Black Rainbow is premised by advocacy, leadership, and solutions that identify and address social and cultural determinants of wellbeing related to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians who identify as LGBTIQA+SB.
